Learning Resources for Students with Disabilities

The use of these digital files is restricted to use for students with special education needs who have disabilities that limit their access to print materials. These disabilities are referred to as ‘perceptual disabilities’ in Canadian Copyright Legislation (section 32).

Students who can legally use these files include students with the following types of disabilities: learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities, physical disabilities, visual disabilities and blindness and as identified in their Individual Program Plan (IPP).

These files may not be used with any students who do not meet the criteria outlined above.

Students are required to have a print copy of the related textbook available for their use in at least one learning environment.

All downloaded files must be deleted/removed once the course has been completed.
